Color On The Walls

Dress: H&M, Hat: Old Navy, Shoes: Elie Tahari
LATELY, art has been a huge inspiraton of mine. There are just so many colors, shapes, and textures! It brings back the idea that fashion should be fun and not taken too seriously.

The National Gallery of Art, has quickly turned into one of my most favorite places in D.C. Not only do you find peace and quiet from all of the hustle and bustle of the city, but you also get to look at centuries worth of artwork in one place! One of my favorite parts in the museum was the Matisse Room. It had colorful cutouts that covered the walls. Seriously, if I could get my room wallpapered in Matisse's art, I don't think I would ever want to leave!

Apart from getting yelled at by the security guards (yes, every room has their own secret service-like guards to protect the artworks!) for being too close to the paintings, I came to the realization that art is beauty and beauty is art :)

Happy Thursday! :)
