I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO FEEL a little bit inspired by the weather we've been having in the East coast for the past couple of days. It's been raining NON STOP. Streets are flooded, trees are down, thunder is apocalyptic-like and everyone's mood has shifted into grumpyness. I, however, don't really mind the rain :)
One of the main reasons why I love the rain (besides carrying fancy umbrellas and running around in rainboots) is that I get to wear outfits like this during the spring time and not look, well, dull. Some people dress very colorful during the rainy season, I, however, love love love wearing pastels and neutrals. For me, there is just something so right about wearing pastels. I guess I feel like I fit in with the wet gravel or the gray skies. There's like an aura of effortless elegance and subtleness.
Since the overall outfit was pretty simplistic, I decided to throw on my current favorite shoes to add a little more detail to the overall look. Have I mentioned how in love I am with them? Rain or no rain, these babies make my day :)
